If you have a MyEBSCO account in either our Advanced Search or the EBSCOhost Research Databases then you should check and migrate, or back up any content before August 2025 to make sure you are still able to access it in all of the new interfaces.
You should be logged into MyEBSCO using your University of Lincoln single sign on details. However, if you have previously used a personal email address or had multiple accounts you may need to merge your accounts first.
Saved Searches from "My Folder" and anything saved in "Articles", "Images", "Videos", "eBooks" will then automatically appear in "My Dashboard" in the new interfaces. There may be a time delay with these appearing when you first login.
If you have any custom folders, search alerts, journal alerts, or persistent links to searches you will need to actively migrate or back up this content.
Any custom folders will not automatically be migrated to the new interface. You will need to actively move them over.
Coming soon. After May 2025 you will be able to download your MyEBSCO "My Custom" folders in the existing site(s) to "Projects" in the new interfaces.
You may still want to back up your saved searches by copying and pasting them into a separate document to avoid losing any parts of your search history.
Any "Search Alerts" will not automatically be migrated to the new interface.
You will need to recreate any saved search alerts in the new interface:
You can also transfer your saved search alerts to a saved search:
The "Persistent Links to Searches" folder will not be migrated to the new interface.
You may want to back up any saved persistent links to searches by copying and pasting them into a separate document to avoid losing any parts of your search history.
