After the creation of your new Single-Sign-On (SSO) MyEBSCO account, you can merge your other personal accounts in the new one to ensure you have access to all your saved saved articles, searches, alerts, videos, etc. You will need to know the login details of your other personal account to perform the merge.

  1. Login to your SSO account, if not already - https://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?profile=eds&custid=s4895734&groupid=main&authtype=sso
  2. In the top right-hand corner click on Update My Account
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page to the Merge account section and click on Get Started
  4. Click on Sign in to your second account
  5. Enter your login details of the personal account you want to merge
  6. If there is a Merge account alert warning you about an Organization mismatch, this is normal and you can click continue with the merge
  7. You will then get a summary confirming which account will be merged into your SSO account
  8. Click Merge account
  9. From the pop-up that appears, click Continue

You have now merged your accounts and you will either receive an email* confirming the merge, or an onscreen message. All saved folders, references etc will be visible in your SSO account shortly (you may need to refresh the page, or log out and back in again). Depending on the amount of folders to move, this may take some time so please be patient. If your accounts haven't merged or you have any other issues please contact us.

*there are some intermittent issues with the email receipt and it is being investigated by EBSCO
