UNIVERSITY LIBRARY:
Hot food (including soup) is not permitted in the building.
Third Floor: Only drinks may be consumed on the Third Floor
Ground, First & Second Floor: Hot and cold drinks as well as cold food* may be consumed on the First and Second Floor
*Food that was once hot is also not permitted in the building, e.g. cold pizza, cold McDonalds, cold breakfast rolls etc.
Alcohol is not permitted.
Rubbish
Please place all rubbish in the bins which are located next to the doors on each floor.
THE ROSS LIBRARY:
This policy also relates to The Ross Library on the First Floor in Lincoln Medical School. Hot foods, including soups, stews, oily foods like fish and chips, pizza (hot or cold); McDonalds (hot or cold), KFC, cold breakfast rolls, vegetable & meat pies, casseroles, rice or noodles in sauce, fried/boiled/Barbecued chicken/meats, etc are not permitted.
Drinks in bottles or cups should be properly capped to avoid spillage.
Alcohol is also not permitted.
Cold drinks and sandwiches may be consumed within the Library.
Hot food may be consumed in the Library Learning Lounges on the Second and Fourth Floors, and in the Atrium on the Ground floor.
Rubbish
Please place all rubbish in the bins which are located in the Library and in the Library Learning Lounges in the Medical Building.
