During times of cold weather we are aware that certain parts of the Library may be uncomfortable. Please note that:
- The temperature in the Library is controlled centrally and only Estates staff can adjust it. This is why users’ requests sometimes might take a while to be implemented, especially at weekends or in the evenings when the Library is open, but the Estates offices are closed.
- Students are welcome to open or close windows as they see fit
- Wearing layers may help
- Different parts of the Library building will be warmer than others, e.g. closer to heaters, away from windows and doors, etc.
