Students may talk on the ground floor of the University Library. On floors 1 & 2 we ask that noise is kept to a conversational level, and that all Library users be considerate of others.
The 3rd floor of the Library is a silent study area - students are not allowed to talk, play music, or have telephone conversations on this floor.
In the Ross Library, social study space is allowed in the area in front of the entrance and enquiries desk, as you move round the corner past the printers, this is the quiet study space and the booths past the books is a dedicated silent study area.
To report excessive noise in any area of the Library please visit the Library Enquiries Desk on the ground floor or you can email us at library@lincoln.ac.uk.
