The easiest way to add a document (that isn't a standard article or chapter) to Talis Engage is to add a manual bookmark. Follow the steps below to manually add a new bookmark and upload the file to Talis Engage.

  1. Hover over the line where you want to add the item and click Add Resource

  1. At the bottom of the window click Create Manually

  1. Enter the details of the item and click Create & Add to List

  1. Select the List you want to add it to and fill in any other required fields > Click OK
  2. Back on the reading list, click on the 3 dots menu on the right-hand side of the item and select Upload file
    • It may take a couple of minutes for the item to appear on the list and you may need to reload the page
