If you are having issues with accessing resources we may sometimes needs you to delete any saved passwords relating to your Lincoln login in your browser or password manager. 

If you are getting an "inter-institutional access failure" error message you will need to completely clear all saved Lincoln passwords before trying to log in again.

Chrome (for more information on these settings visit the Chrome help)

  • From the browser Settings menu, select Autofill and Passwords
  • Select Google Password Manager
  • In the search bar at the top of the screen, enter the word lincoln
  • Select each relevant entry and click Delete

Edge (for more information on these settings visit the Edge help 

  • From the browser Settings menu, select Passwords
  • In the search bar next to the saved passwords, enter the word lincoln
  • Select each relevant entry and click Delete

Safari (for more information on these settings visit the Apple help pages

  • From the browser Settings menu, select Passwords
  • In the search bar at the top of the window, enter the word lincoln
  • Select each relevant entry and click Delete

With MacBooks and iPhones you may also need to delete any related keychains.

  • From the browser menu, select Passwords
  • In the search bar at the top of the screen, enter the word lincoln
  • Select each relevant entry and click Delete
