Mendeley is open-source software and is freely available, but is not supported by the Library.

Mendeley is a free, easy-to-use tool to help you collect, organise, cite and share research and references.

To use Mendeley, you can simply download the free Mendeley Reference Manager which allows you to collect references from a variety of sources on the web.

Mendeley Web Importer allows you to efficiently collect the metadata and PDFs of webpages, documents and papers directly into your Reference Library and share with collaborators using Mendeley Groups.

It can be integrated with Microsoft Word by downloading Mendeley Cite (please note: this is not possible with Microsoft 365).

You can access user guides from the Help Guides section and FAQ’s from the Support Centre section of the Mendeley website.
