It's not possible to access content in Box of Broadcasts (BoB) outside the UK, even when using a VPN or the University Cloud Desktop. The licence terms and conditions prevent this and the service uses geolocation software to block access from non-UK IP addresses.
What if I am based in the UK?
There are no restrictions on accessing BoB from a UK registered IP address. If you are in the UK and are blocked from accessing BoB because it detects you are based overseas, then this may be due to a misconfiguration of your IP details. Check your IP address details and contact your internet service provider if the location details look wrong.
