Zotero is a free, easy-to-use tool to help you collect, organise, cite and share research and references.

To use Zotero, you can simply download the free browser extension which allows you to collect references from a variety of sources on the web with the click of a button.

It can be integrated with Microsoft Word and OpenOffice by downloading the Zotero word processor plug-ins.

You can use it in conjunction with other software such as Endnote and RefWorks as it enables you to pull bibliographic information from multiple databases and then import it into Endnote or Refworks in one step.

You can access some excellent resources, including quick start guides, FAQ’s and screencast tutorials from the support section of the Zotero website.

Please note that Zotero is open-source software and is not supported by the Library.
