If you are using RefWorks (ProQuest) you'll need to select a citation style to use to create a bibliography or reference list. We have a number of institutional and standardised styles which follow the guidelines in our referencing handbooks:

Harvard

Select Harvard - University of Lincoln (3rd ed. Dec2025)

APA

Select APA 7th : University of Lincoln

OSCOLA

Select OSCOLA (Oxford University Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities) (CSL)

MHRA

Select Modern Humanities Research Association 3rd edition (Note with bibliography) (CSL)

IEEE

Select IEEE (CSL)

Vancouver

Select Elsevier - Vancouver. Or search for an alternative Vancouver style

If you are not sure which referencing style to use check your module handbook or with your module leader before starting to write.
