The ‘not needed after’ and ‘required by’ date means the last date that the item will be of use to you in your research.
When we get your request it is processed as soon as we are able.
Please note: requests placed after 4.00 p.m. on a Friday may not be processed until Monday morning.
We will continue to search for a lender who would be willing to supply the item until either we have exhausted all possible lenders or the 'not needed after'/'required by' date is imminent.
Once the 'not needed after'/'required by' date is reached we will automatically cancel your request.
