If you want to save a link to an article in an EBSCO database (including the Library's advanced search) to access later on, you will need to save a permalink.

Simply copying the EBSCO web address / URL from the address bar will not work - doing so will create a link which expires after a period of time.

To save a permalink:

  1. Within EBSCO, go to the item record details page. Click on the "Permalink" button on the right-hand side of the page. The permalink will appear at the top of the page.

  2. Copy and paste the permalink either to a Word document or to an email. Please bear in mind that the permalink will not be saved automatically. You must copy and paste it.
