Poster settings in Adobe Acrobat

Download the PDF file to your computer. Don’t try to alter print options with an online document, it will not work properly.

Search for Adobe Acrobat and open the application.

  • Select ‘file’
  • Open document
  • Select ‘file’
  • Select ‘print’
  • Select plotter (Followme_wideformat on PAPERCUTAPP01)
  • Select ‘properties’
  • Under ‘Change Paper/Quality’ tab, and under ‘paper options, find ‘document size’ and scroll down and change document size to:
  • ‘More’
  • Select A1 or A0 or A2 or whichever size you need (click on it to highlight your choice)
  • Select ‘OK’

In the Layout/Outlook tab

  • Select ‘Resizing Option’
  • Select ‘fit to’ (the paper size you have chosen)
  • Select ‘OK’

Under ‘Print Quality’ tab select ‘High’

Make sure the ‘print in grayscale’ box is not ticked

Under page sizing and handling

  • Select fit
  • Select ‘print’

The Wide Format printer is on the 1st Floor of the University Library.  Log in with your student card by holding your card on the ‘touch point’ of the printer. Your poster should then print.

Go to myprint.lincoln.ac.uk to check your print balance or top up your credit for printing.
