Q. I would like to use some information that I’ve read about in a book/journal article however, they are quoting somebody else. How do I reference this?

This is called secondary referencing and should be avoided where possible.  If you can’t locate the original source, follow the guidelines in the relevant referencing handbook (look for secondary referencing in the contents).
