Some users (esp Android users) are experiencing difficulties when trying to log into the Libby app and are receiving this Open Athens error message.
There is a known bug within Open Athens affecting certain Android devices that is preventing users from logging in, which our suppliers are working hard to resolve.
Their is a temporary workaround - you will need to clone your session from another non-Android device like a desktop browser. Please visit the Libby Help article for detailed instructions on how to do this. You can also watch this help video. You can access your collection on a desktop browser by visiting this URL, just the same as if you were accessing it from the app.
If you get the above error message, or the workaround fails for you, please let us know and provide us with the following information so it can be investigated further:
- Device name
- Model number
- OS version you are using
