You do not need an Athens or OpenAthens password to access University of Lincoln Library online resources.

(The only exception is for non-University of Lincoln, NHS resources which are provided to health and nursing students only, via the dedicated NICE Evidence Search portal using a separate NHS Athens account.)

In common with most UK universities, Lincoln does not use Athens passwords as a method of access.

You can access all the online resources to which Lincoln has access using your University email address and password. If you are on a computer in the Library, or if you are using the Cloud Desktop, then you will not always need to log in again.

If you have any questions about accessing resources please contact the Library, or speak to your Academic Subject Librarian.
