You can download some of the University of Lincoln's ebooks as a PDF file to your own computer or device.

The University of Lincoln's ebooks are held on two platforms, called Dawsonera and MyiLibrary. Some (but not all) ebooks on the Dawsonera platform can be downloaded as a restricted, time-limited PDF to your own computer or device.

It is not possible to download whole ebooks on the MyiLibrary platform. However you can usually download a small amount of each ebook as a PDF file to your own computer or device.

You must use Adobe Reader as your PDF software to read downloaded ebooks. Other PDF software will not work and when you try to read the ebook you will just see a blank page.

There are additional software requirements for downloading to Apple iOS and Android devices.

To download an ebook on the Dawsonera platform:

  1. Log in to the ebook in the usual way.
